leaving tomorrow

yep, I am leaving Berlin tomorrow morning, I will be in Italy for the holidays, until 10th of January.
I will be updating the shop with a bunch of new Les Monstris soon after that date!
In the meantime I hope I will be able to post a little something every now and then...

winter weeks

Oh, what  a great time I had today, I haven't been feeling this good in a while... I went with my boyfriend to buy a present for my father, who is retiring right this week (!),  then we had Gluhwein and it was snowing and the flakes falling on our table were so perfectly shaped, and then we went to see Where The Wild Things Are, finally out also here in Deutschland, and it made us laugh a lot  and cry a bit...it was nice...
and the other day I received those prints up here, part of an artist exchange via mail, from the lovely laura george!
last weekends at the christmas markets I managed to meet a bunch of clever girls:
Amanda, she makes beautiful handprinted scarfs and other accessories
Daniela aka CHIBA, the queen of recycle and a volcano head of ideas
Genevieve of Mon Bibi,  maker of fascinating fascinators and great chatter! actually, all of them are great talker and we kind of kept each other happy while the people slowly passed by our stands, still figuring out their christmas presents....

you know what? I am a bit tired and I haven't been taking much pictures lately..I've been busy with the xmas markets saturday and sunday, and I will be there also next weekend...
we had some guests also this weekend, and we went  to eat at my favorite Viet restaurant, Hamy. There they have some the best things I've ever eaten, but it is always so crowded and it's one of those places where the waitress comes to take away your empty plate as soon as you have finished, but...oh my, it's worth it!

busy time

Oh, lala, I've been away too long from my dear blog..but I've been busy with my friends who were visiting me, and then my boyfriend got back after a 3 weeks tour, and I am getting ready for the xmas  markets that I will be attending for the next weekends...
plus I have to admit that I am a bit overwhelmed by the mass of info-hints-suggestions-advertising that flooded the internet from last weekend, Black Friday etc... too much even for me, eheh
I made some ornaments for my FAKE christmas tree making what I call "the chignons" using colorful yarn like for my brooches!
 yesterday there was the opening party for  the Luv-able and Hug-able show at Gallery Hanahou in Soho! I had tow of my monsters there, but being there in person would have been kinda different, eheh... have a look at this crazy and beautiful bunch of softies that are part of the show! there are  a lot of japanese artists making great great works!

so, back to work now, just a quick reminder for those of you who are in Berlin: for the next weekends until christmas you will find me at the TRENDMAFIA indoor market in Brunnenstrasse 64, Saturday and Sunday from 1p.m. to 8p.m., free entry, I am at stand n.16, come and say hAllo!!
