yesterday I had some friends over for dinner and I made this beautiful salad and other things...everything turned out quite yummy, but I had the feeling of spending the entire afternoon in the kitchen, ending up with serving just a salad and some linsen/spinach burger and some sauce...sometimes it's like that...

O´HORTEN! :) I love that movie, and the beautiful music from norwegian band Kaada, you should check them out! My boyfriend filmed them on tour, they are really talented.. aaand maybe you will like Roy Andersson movies too, have you seen some of them? the last one, Du levende, aka Das jüngste Gewitter - is really good. And "A swedish love story" from 1970. He is swedish though. Sorry about the long comment, I am really into scandinavian movies! xx

Well, I just had a look at the pictures of the salad and simply looking at it... But I guess i know what you mean, especially with vegan/ vegetarian cooking. Did your guests like the food?

Trula: well, my guests were very nice and said it was all great, but I wasn't very satisfied...probably I was expecting a bit more from myself, eheh.
O'Horten played here in New Zealand last July as part of our annual international film festival. It's a great film! And I love the stuff you make.
