My sentiments exactly! It's devastating... =___= I could get in touch (on her home-phone) with the dear friend who hosted me in Tokyo for 3 months, luckily she and all her family is all right, she only got a bit scared (her words!).
(Not the most important thing, if compared with the images NHK is showing, but I also hope your long-awaited trip won't be affected by this tragedy).
